Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal, and it is located at the Kathmandu valley (about 1300 metres above sea level) in central Nepal. The city does not have many tall buildings, but it has many religious monuments, such as the Buddhist stupas and the Hindu temples. Kathmandu is always bursting with activities, and the streets are usually crowded, chaotic and very dusty. Below are some photographs of life in Kathmandu ..... |
