Photographs of Himalayan Flight

I took a 1 hour Himalayan mountain flight using Buddha Air on 17th April 2001, and was very lucky as the sky was very clear on that morning. I could see the Himalayan mountain ranges of the Solu Khumbu region, Langtang region and the Ganesh Himal region. Further west, I could see a small portion of the the Manaslu and Annapurna regions as well. Below are some of the beautiful photographs taken .....

Beautiful scenes from the foothills before we reach the snow capped Himalyan mountains .....

We finally reached the magnificent Himalayan mountains !!!

The Himalayan mountains are the tallest in the world, and they are very young mountains as observed from their sharp and jagged peaks

The Langtang Range and green valleys  Tall peaks arising from the collision of the Indian land-mass with the Asia continent

Last but not least, above are the photographs of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world at 8848 metres above sea level !!!
