| Design Evaluation ************************************************************************************************ The main colour of this web site are black and white. The blackground of the page is black, and the words of the page is white. We can read the paragraph very easy, because the background is black and the words is white. The idea of this page is that they want to teach us how to create colour, and first we can see that when black and white colours are together, they make a nice contrast. The font of this page is same, so it will make the web site very nice. When I go to different page, the organization is same. The author uses 3D illustrations and logo example to explain the color theory, so it will make the web site more creative. |
| Information vs. Advertising ************************************************************************************************* This is a personal homepage, and I can not find any ad on this web site. It shows us many information about color theory. Such as how to mix the colors, how to create a color, subtractive color... I think the author should add more another links on it. People go to this page because they want to find more information about color, if people can not find what they want on this page, they would like to go to another page to find it. Also now many web page have another links on it. We can know who is the author on the very first page, so if we have any question or opinion, we can contact him. The information provided is free. |
Overall Rating *********************************************************************************************** Too much words and only few picture on this web site. This is like read a book, it's not fun. Although this is a information page, I think the author should add more different kind of picture or things on it. On the very first page, we can choose goto color theory or here. But we will see the same thing no matter we go which way. I don't like this style. It is because the first time when I go to this page, I thought they are two different pages. So I think this web site only informative. I would give this page 6 out of 10. |
