There are times in our lives when we need advice. If you need to ask for advice, you can use the following expressions:

- What should SUBJECT do?
- What do you think (SUBJECT should do)?
Not everyone
wants advice, but if you offer it to someone you can do it in the following
ways:
- Can I offer you some advice?
- Can I offer you a piece of advice?
- Can I make a suggestion?
When making suggestions
or asking for advice, you can use these expressions:

- What/How about (v-ing..)?

- What if you were (infinitive)?

- I¡¯d suggest (noun) (v-ing).

You should
always thank someone for their suggestions (even if you don¡¯t really agree.)
