Music Helps the Mind: What are the positive effects of music?

    We all have some form of stress. Yet in the hustle and bustle[.1]  of everyday life, we could all use a break now and then to just drop everything and take it easy.

i) Listening to classical music has been beneficial to learning and mind relaxation. It can also reduce our levels of stress.

ii) Classical music playing in the background can help students concentrate for longer periods of time and memorize material more easily (= increases academic skills).
