I will have much more information and websites you can go to for help. The members will also look up sites for you to get help if you live in a certain area. You may not want to give that information out though, so I suggest that if you give any information out about seeking help that you only provide the state or providence you live in.
Never, ever give your personal information to a member like your phone number, home address, or name. We will listen to you and we care, but we cannot have that information. When you feel that you are ready to get help, come here or ask your individual listener to find help for you. It is the best way to do this and to make this exchange work for you. I know that sometimes you feel that the person is your only friend or you feel close to that exchange member because they listen and care about what you say. That is good, but we also have to be careful too.
I want this exchange to stay open and alive for as long as it is possible. In order to do this we all must follow the rules and work together to make this a SAFE HOUSE. You are always welcome to come back any time. Even after you accept help and feel that you are doing better. We love to hear success stories.
