Clan of the Cave Bear, The Valley of Horses, The Mammoth Hunters, and The Plains of Passage, by Jean M. Auel.
  The story of a young woman named Ayla in prehistoric times who learns survival, love , loss.  It is about the strength of the human spirit.  These books are excellent, and if you ever get a chance to read them please take the time to do so.  It is worth the time, I promise you.

My Sergi, A Love Story, by Ekaterina Gordeeva with E.M. Swift.
This story is the true love story of famous world ice skater Ekaterina and her husband Sergei Grinkov who were pair skaters before his early death in 1995 when he suffered a fatal heart attack during a routine training session.  This story touched my heart as it will yours.  It is based on a true tale of love and loss.

The Boomer Bible, a Testament For Our Times, by R.F. Laird.  A very funny version of our modern day ideas and a bible you won't want to put down, even in the bathroom.

Scottish Ghosts by, Dane Love
Scary stories of Ghosts seen in Scotland.
Since my family, and my husband's family originated from Scotland, England, and Ireland (We have ancestors in all three) we are always interested in the lore and legends of the land.  We also have a personal interest in ghosts in general. This book is only one of many great ghost books based on actual sitings.
Some paranormal experts have even documented sitings which are hosted in this book.  A must read.

Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen of the Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, The Witching Hour, Lasher, Taltos, Armand, Pandora, The Feast of Saints, The Mummy or Ramses the Dead, and the Servent of the Bones are just a few of the great  books By, Anne Rice
I would go into detail about all I have read, I have to say that you need to get these books and read them.  They are wonderful, she is wonderful, and I think it is imperitive that you read these books.  Once you do you will never put them down.

This book was given to me by my husband to quell my fasination with vampires.   It did the exact opposite.  This is a great book with lots of great stories you will love.  Take the time to check this book out.  I have read it not only once but now 5 times.  It is a masterpiece.
