A Story For Mother Continued........
Beth watched as Brandon played ball with the dog in the back yard.  Brandon was in school now, but they still had a few vacation days ahead and planned a big camping trip with the whole family.   It would be good to see Mom and Danna again.  Danna had met a nice man and they had been dating for a while.  Chris loved to spend time outdoors and so did Brandon.  They were two peas in a pod.
Sharron had been dating unsuccessfully for a while, but she enjoyed the time at home alone.  Although she missed her daughters very much.  Danna was still living at home, but her mind and body were rarely there at the same time.  Sharron's buisness was going under and she was looking at starting something new.  She was excited to find that she had some great ideas for herself and maybe she could get them to work for her.  She was also looking forward to the campout.  She loved Brandon and was happy that she would also get to see Beth since they had moved so far away, they had little time to spend together.
Brandon was older now.  He had been spending alot of time with his buddies from school.  Beth was worried about him.  He had become distant to her.  He was riding his new motorcycle that Beth hated.  Always worrying that he might get hurt.  All the hugs had become more or less a simple wave goodbye.  He had a great job he loved at a vidio rental store and Chris had been working longer hours too.  Beth felt very much alone.  Where they lived there weren't very many neighbors and she had few friends.  When she would get lonely she would think about HOME.  With her Mom.
Brandon was excited to get his motorcycle.  He earned all the money himself for it.  That was the deal that he made with Dad.  He thought his Mom worried too much.  He was doing very well in school and had a football scholarship.  He knew his Mom and Dad were proud of him.  But, Brandon wanted to go to college so bad.  He wanted independance and to make a life of his own.
Beth watched as Brandon and his new wife Lisa got into the white limosine.  Lisa was nice, but not exactly what Chris and Beth had in mind for their son.  But, in every parent's mind their child needs more.  Beth relized that this was what Brandon wanted.  Lisa was from a wealthy family and terribly spoiled.  Brandon was in love and he would give her the world if he could.
Grandma Sharron, Aunt Danna, Uncle Richard, Chris, and Beth all waved goodbye.
Lisa was working a part time job.  The reality of life had been hard for her.  Brandon got the job he wanted, but the move all the way to Virginia had cost more then they expected and they were not prepared for the massive payments on the house that Lisa had picked out.
Brandon was working two full time jobs when Lisa became pregnant with twins.  Money was tight and he was tired.  With the move to Virginia he had lost contact with most of his friends.  To save money they had a computer in which they used to make a little income online and to save on long distance by e mailing their friends and family.  Brandon was able to talk his parents into getting a computer.
He was looking at his mail when he saw the letter.
'Brandon,
How are you honey?  We have missed you and we love you.  I am sending two tickets up to you and Lisa, I hear you have some time free from your last letter.  Come home.'
Tears of happiness came to his face.  He had been thinking about his Mom at that time, wanting to see them again.  Lisa was happy too.  Her Mom had just called and they were all going to have a party when they got back.
Two months later Lisa and Brandon were in the hospital.  Lisa gave birth to a girl and a boy.  It was the most wonderful day of their lives.  Brandon's Mom and Grandma were there to welcome Jane and Timmy.  It was a beautiful spring day as Lisa, a new Mother walked pushing the stroller with her two chilren.  All people could see was another beautiful mother.
