This is the Great nebulon Orion.  One of the most beautiful light shows in space.  If you can imagine what the Big Bang was like, this might be how it started.

This is the inside dome of the Hale Telescope.  By looking through these huge telescopes we can see farther into space then we would with a telescope at home.  Here is where some men like Galeleo find out about our universe.  He would have been in awe and would have been proud of our progress. 

This is the galileo probe observing Jupiter.  If you can see the large red spot, that spot is a storm that has been there for over 200 years.

These are some images taken by the Hubble.  This is what galexies look like from far away.

This is a picture of the Hubble telescope.  This large telescope is able to see far into space and record information.  The hubble is also able to trasmit radio signals in space for SETI.

This is the Keck telescope at dusk.

This here is a lazer observitory.  Lazers have made a large difference in the way that we can see the universe. With lazers we are able to pin point a planet or star and locate it in seconds.

This here is a picture of a luner eclipse and the phases of the moon.
