COMMENTARY- A PARALYZING FEAR
We received an advanced copy of this documentary that is to be broadcast in October
on PBS. Quickly, we reviewed the video with great curiosity. It was not the 30th or 50th
anniversary of anything we knew and we wanted to figure out why our Government was
involved in the production which cost over $749,107. That amount of money is more than
3 times what our Government spent each year for many prior years on Post Polio
Syndrome (PPS) research.
After reviewing the video it did not take us long to realize that we were the cause for
the making of the documentary. We now understand why our request was turned down
to have PPS in the documentary. You may recall we even asked you not to contribute any
of your polio information they asked for unless PPS was included.
We concluded that our actions over the last few years have been cutting into the profits
of a couple of organizations and those smart organizations we believe teamed up to use
OPM. Other Peoples Money that is. Our Governments money, money that belongs to you
and I was used to try to increase their income and profits.
The first organization we believe was the manufacturer of the Sabin ‘live’ oral Polio
vaccine. Now, as you know we have distributed thousands of polio vaccine flyers and in it
we suggest you use only the Salk ‘dead’ injection polio vaccination. This as we have stated
over and over again, is the only way you can assure yourself that your baby will not get
polio from the vaccination. In fact, stay clear of anyone who recently received the
Sabin ‘oral’ live vaccine. (Send a SASE for flyer, make copies and distribute to every
organization.)
If you watch the video you will note the following
2. This is a pretty long documentary. Was there any reason to include the Cutter
Labs Salk polio vaccine production error. Errors do occur, yet no mention is made of the
adverse reactions that daily occur with the use of the Sabin polio vaccination. So is
somebody trying to tell you that there is a possibility of error in manufacturing of the Salk
injection vaccine and therefore use the Sabin oral vaccine?
3. What really clinched our belief was when one of our viewers stated, “Look the
Sabin manufacturer is not mentioned anywhere in the documentary but, here it is only after
all the credits at the very, very end.” So, draw your own conclusion.
As to the second organization, that we believe is the March of Dimes (MOD). As
you know we have been continuously accusing them of abandoning Polio Survivors for all
practical purposes and devoting their energy basically to Birth Defects. We have therefore
been telling Polio Survivors not to donate to the MOD for polio but to other organizations.
We even advised removing the MOD from their Will. We now guess our efforts have been
recognized by the MOD as they count the reduced funds coming in from Polio Survivors.
Now, of course, they want Polio Survivors (really their money) back in their fold.
So, for the first time in 40 or so years they have opened their sealed polio archives for use
in this documentary. Will you be forgiving them? Your comments are welcomed.
1. The use of the Salk vaccine is first shown with happy kids receiving the vaccine
injection. Later on in the video the kids are not seen as happy receiving the injection. Why
the changeover. Are they trying to subjectively suggest that the injection is painful and
therefore to use the Sabin oral vaccine in its place?
