Fantasy: Rules

Official Rules

  • Leagues: A league is comprised of 6 teams, all in one division. Each team includes:

    1. Two Starters
    2. One Bench Player

Note: Players may not be drafted onto the team they own.

  • Schedule: The schedule consists of 10 weeks, where each team will play all other teams twice (Once in the first 5 weeks, and then again in the second 5 weeks). After 10 weeks the playoffs begin, where the top 4 teams continue to compete. The first round of the playoffs places the 1 seed vs. the 4 seed and the 2 seed vs. the 3 seed. The winners of these games move on to the championship game the following week.

  • Weekly Matchups: Each week, your team will be matched up against one of the other teams in the league (There are no bye weeks). Each team will have 2 starters. Each starter scores points based on his/her 'rating' (Points per game multiplied by 4.20 multiplied by 2). There is a minimum of 3 games for that week that must be played by each starter (Otherwise, that player's 'rating' is not counted towards your score). The score for your team is the sum of both starter's 'rating'. The team that scores more points that week gets the win, and the other gets the loss. If there is a tie, it will be counted as such.
  • Setting Lineups: Each week of play consists of games that are played on the following nights:

    1. Thursday
    2. Friday
    3. Saturday
    4. Tuesday

So each week starts on Thursday, ends on Tuesday, and only takes games played on the previously mentioned nights into account. Lineups for the upcoming week can be set or changed from the end of Tuesday night up to the first game played by one of your players Thursday night (Note: this includes your current bench player as well). If no lineup is set by the end of Thursday night or once one of your players has started a game, then your previously set lineup will be used.

  • Tie-Breakers: The following tie-breakers are used if there is more than one team with the same record:

    1. PF
    2. Breakdown

  • Player Scoring System:
