From Dallas and the RBent club came Doug and Sherry Davis. The most impressive Doug came within a second of breaking the local track record for the kilometer. He and his Wedginator, a Rotator Super7 Steamliner, geared up to 50 mph.
Bob Dillard, his wife and his bikes were there from Refugio. His bikes included a Lightning M-5 and an Aerolope, which he generously let me pilot around the oval.
Mark Milam and part of his stable of recumbents came from Lafayette. I had a great time riding his Challenge Hurricane and Aaron could not get off his Rans Tailwind. Mark also had a Barcroft Virginia recumbent.
Cletus Lee, who was responsible for the Alkek event, and his Rans Stratus put in quite a few laps around the track.
Chuck Mason with his "Fool's Gold" Easy Racers Gold Rush and his brother with his BikeE came with their families.
Ruben Arredondo and his wife showed up with Ruben's Lightning Stealth.
Ed Charlesworth and Jim Lemmerz of Stress Management Recumbents came with a Rotator Pursuit, an Easy Racers EZ1, a Linear and BikeE and several friends from Brazil.
Charlie Rodriguez (Houston Bicycle Club) was there with his road worthy BikeE NX.
From San Antonio came Steve Wood and his Vision.
Lucille Enix from the Dallas RBent recumbent club and her shiny new Easy Racers Ti-Rush was there.
And of course, I was there with Aaron and our reconstituted Belik tandem.
