The Beatles last album was entitled, Abbey Road -named for the recording studio. It was actually recorded after Let It Be, but released before it. The record was produced by George Martin, after a one album break (Phil Specter produced the previous, Let It Be). The Beatles were now more divided than ever. Rarely were all four together on the studio at the same time. In fact the rock-and-roll A-side was made to please John, and the rock-opera B-side to please Paul. This album also comprises of the most 4-part harmonies of any Beatles album. Notables include the beautiful balad Something (George Harrison's only A-side on any Beatles single), Oh! Darling (which Paul wrote and John really wanted to sing--another argument), Ringo's second composition, Octopus's Garden, John's immortalized Come Together, and The End, which features guitar solos by the three Beatles and Ringo's only recorded drum solo.
