Nipping at my feet, following me wherever I go..
Enveloping in darkness, the shadows at my toes..
I cannot see the light.
I cannot see what lies ahead of me.
Where is my future, where is my life.
Suffocating, almost strangling me, I cannot move.
I have fallen immobilized.
And the harder I fight for the power of the light..
The deeper the darkness envelops me.

Loneliness.  Oh the sorrow of being alone.
So dim, so black, so sorrowful.. the darkness.
Trailing behind me wherever I go..
My only true companion..
They say to love the light..
But how can I love, what I cannot reach..

Love the shadows.. the loneliness..
Accept yourself, love yourself..
For only then, will you see the light.
