Westlife celebrate Mark's birthday
Last night Westlife partied with young fans at a club in Stockholm. Mark Feehily's birthday was celebrated with both alcohol, champagne and colourful shots.

And lots of girls of course.

Yesterday Aftonbladet could tell about how young Swedish girls offered themselves sexually to Westlife at "Skandinavium" in Gothenburg. (The banners read such things as "Kian, show us your tiger" and "Nicky... f''k us.")

Last night's concert at The Globe was no exception, and the sexual offers looked to rain over the boyband also later that night.

After the concert they had a big birthday party for Mark at Kharma in Stockholm - the nightclub that among others have princess Madeleine as a returning guest.

The group had booked a VIP-table in one of the corners to celebrate Mark Feehily's 24th birthday. His birthday was last Friday, but since Westlife had such hangovers from a night out on Thursday they decided to rest instead.

But last night it was all party. At the same time as DJ Don Tomaso played the latest hits on the dance floor Westlife toasted with the friends, among others some of their Swedish songwriters.

The gang both cheered and sang for Mark who happily downed drink after drink.

Along with some of Stockholm's most famous "nightclub personalities" a long line of young girls had been specially invited to the club. They soon gathered around the boys' table.

Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan and Kian Egan happily offered drinks to their Swedish fans. But Mark partied the most of them all. At one point he was seen with his arms around three blonds.

Early this morning (Sunday) the boyband, noticeable drunk, left Stockholm in their tour buss. Today Westlife are due to go onstage in Oslo. If they can.

Bryan and Nicky Reunite for Chloe
Bryan McFadden and Nicky Byrne showed that they leave their ShowBiz egos in the dressing room when it comes to important issues such as making a dream come true for a terminally ill little girl...

Despite numerous iterations from both Westlife and their former member Bryan McFadden that they are still best of friends and fully support each other the media would have you believe they arch enemies.

And such is the nature of the media animal they only report on the negative side of ShowBiz and not on the numerous good deeds done by celebrities.

Take the example of wonderful little Chloe King (4) who is terminally ill with Congenital Heart Disease - her life's wish was to meet her idol Bryan McFadden.

A very good friend of her family contacted ShowBiz Ireland in a desperate attempt to contact Bryan and thus arrange a meeting. But, despite popular thinking, we don't have a direct line to the stars and could only point these good people in the direction of the PR company in charge of the Soccer Six event in Reading which, Bryan would be attending.

Chloe has been so ill that she has never been strong enough to attend a Westlife concert so her family took the opportunity of the Soccer Six tournament to let her and her brother Alex see their favourite pop star in the flesh.

When they got there Chloe could only watch her idol from the stands because of the crush of screaming fans around Bryan, but when one of the stewards heard her plight she quickly went over to Bryan and explained her tragic story.

Big hearted Bryan immediately instructed the steward to bring Chloe and her down and spent 10 minutes with her and according to her family "gave her kisses and cuddles".

Hearing she was Westlife's No.1 fan Bryan sped off and grabbed his former bandmate Nicky Byrne and the two got some photos will little Chloe.

A close friend of Chloe told ShowBiz Ireland: "They were the best of friends and Nicky was as concerned about Chloe as Bryan. They were both genuinely moved by Chloe and seemed more than happy to spend time with her, a Westlife fan".

Apparently this small gesture from Bryan and Nicky has put Chloe "on cloud nine".

Bryan also made a point of coming back over so that Alex, Chloe's brother could have a picture with him as he is also a Westlife fan.

Chloe's family told ShowBiz Ireland: "they would like to thank everyone at the Reading stadium for their help and to Bryan and Nicky for making one little girls dream come true and for making her life complete, they really were amazing".

Chloe has had to date 3 minor and 3 major operations and a stroke - she is in fact due to have her 7th and final op on the 28th July, which is the biggest and most dangerous.

Our hopes and prayers are with Chloe and her family...

Bryan vows to speak the truth
Bryan McFadden will attack the Catholic Church on his debut solo album. The former Westlife singer has a three-album deal and will vent his spleen after being constrained by the Irish boyband.

He said: 'The direction am taking with the first one is going to surprise everyone a lot and I mean a lot.

'I am working hard on it now and I am being totally honest. Maybe too honest.

'In Westlife we were all made to sign a three-album deal individually not as a band but as individuals.

'I have to honour my deal, I am tied into it, but no one can tell me which direction to take.

'So am doing it my way. I am going to tell my life story in music even if it upsets some people.'

Like Robbie Williams before him, Bryan will shatter Westlife's clean-cut image and be honest about his problems with the Church at school.

'I am going as far back as my childhood and school.

'The Christian Brothers will feature there people say not to attack the church, it's a powerful force in Ireland but I am not going to slag them I am just going to tell the truth about my schooldays and all the other stuff.'

Tour DVD
Westlife will be recording the concert in Stockholm on Saturday for their live-DVD.

"This is a way for us to say thanks to our fantastic Swedish fans," says Shane. Now they have a chance to be on the DVD with their banners.

"When we looked at our schedule for the tour, the four of us agreed on that Stockholm is the ultimate place to record. We know that the fans are fantastic. They've always made us feel like home," says Nicky.

The DVD will be out autumn 2004.
