Chapter One

“Quit it!” Lorelai said between giggles.

“No way. You asked for it.” Justin told her continuing to tickle her sides.

“Please!” she said. “I can’t breathe.”

Justin shook his head. “Say it.”

Lorelai gave him her infamous puppy dog eyes. “Justin…”

“Not going to work girlie. I invented that look.” He told her.

“Fine. I’m sorry about what happened.” She said in a monotone voice.

“And?” he prompted.

Lorelai rolled her eyes. “And you’re the greatest boyfriend ever.”

“In?” he continued.

“In the entire world.” She said.

Justin released her from his grip. “Very good.”

“But you’ve got to admit it was pretty hilarious.” Lorelai said.

“I’m failing to see humor in the situation.” Justin said.

“Come on.” She said.

“Look as many times as you try to convince me that what you, Adrienne, and Caitlin did was funny I’m not going to agree with you.” Justin told her.

“You’re no fun.” Lorelai said pouting.

“You’re right, how silly of me! I guess I forgot how much fun it is to be publicly humiliated in front of my friends by the three musketeers.” Justin said sarcastically.

“Well, we just wanted to remind you.” Lorelai said sweetly.

“Come here you.” Justin said pulling her into his arms and kissing her forehead.

“I thought you were mad at me.” she said.

Justin shrugged. “I forgive you.”

“Fickle boy.” She said as he leaned in and kissed her.

Lorelai Storm was probably considered the luckiest girl in the world. Not only did she have an amazing job, she got to work in the music industry, but her boyfriend was the one and only Justin Timberlake. And as if that wasn’t enough she had just been named assistant tour director for *NSYNC’s 2001 Pop Odyssey Tour. Lorelai met Justin at Britney Spears’ record release party. At the time she was an assistant on Britney’s Oops, I Did it Again Tour. Two girls, Adrienne and Caitlin, publicists for *NSYNC, had decided to dunk Justin’s head in the punch bowl. The first thing he saw when he lifted his head out of the bowl was her. A spark was immediate between the two of them, after Lorelai stopped laughing. They kept in touch for the next few months soon became inseparable.

“Justin?” she asked.

“Yes?” he asked back.

“What if he doesn’t like me?” Lorelai asked.

“Who?” he questioned.

“Wade.” She said referring to the tour director she would be working with. “I mean he’s always done this on his own. I’m kind of moving in on his territory.”

“You talked to him on the phone right?” Justin asked her.

She nodded.

“And wasn’t he cool with you being his assistant?” Justin continued.

“Yes….but still.” She said.

“You worry too much.” Justin told her.

“I know. I just hope this all works out.” She said.
