Later that week…
Natalie shook her head. “Amazing. I can’t believe he’s actually a nice guy. I figured he was the male equivalent of Gwyneth Porter.”
Natalie and Felicity were grocery shopping for their Friday pizza and movie night.
Felicity scanned the store and noticed the lines were quite long.
Felicity walked across the store and headed down the snack aisle.
Who knew finding ridged chips would be so difficult?
As she did this her hand brushed against another hand. Felicity turned and found herself face to face with Lance Bass.
Lance handed her the bag and threw another one into his cart.
Now she could just say bye and walk away, but Gwyneth was expecting results.
Lance seemed a little surprised she was sticking around to talk to him.
Felicity’s mouth almost dropped to the floor. What luck!
Felicity hid a smile…this was working out better than she expected. Lance must have mistaken her silence for a ‘no.’
Lance smiled. “Okay cool. Umm…I’ll pick you up on Saturday at like 6:00-ish?”
Felicity chuckled. “No. Actually I just bumped into Lance Bass.”
She and Natalie paid for their groceries and as they walked to her car Felicity began to feel guilty. Lance seemed like a nice enough guy…too bad she had to break his heart.
“I’ll be right back.” Felicity said to Natalie over the ringing phone. “Hello?”
Felicity stuck her head out the kitchen door. Natalie was engrossed in “Joy Ride” so it was safe to talk.
Felicity laughed. “Coming!”
