Dear Diary,

Wow! Talk about a close call! Those scary bugs almost got us! Yuck!

I got a wierd feeling as soon as we landed in bugsville. You could see signs of total chaos everywhere...not a good thing. But it was a good thing we heard that newscast. Apparently scientists were experimenting with the bugs and a queen escaped...starting an infestation. No offense to Quinn or the Professor, but sometimes I really feel that scientists meddle too much in nature. I mean, the spiderwasps prove my point. They are destroying that poor world. And innocent people are suffering for it.

It's a very conflicting thing for me...I mean I'm so curious about the worlds we land in...about the universe we live in as a whole. Really that's partially why I jumped in the vortex in the first place. The other part of course, was that it was Quinn asking me to go. Sigh! Another one of my conflictions. But anyway to get back to the bugs, they were the nastiest-looking creatures I'd ever seen. They swarmed all around us and we barely got away with our skins. To sum up this world: It was just another case of man trying to play God -- and losing.
