Dear Diary,

We've landed on a world that is horrifying. Here the Domino theory actually took place, and the only superpower left in the world is the U.S.S.R. There's such injustice here it's unbelievable. Of course we all grew up with the notion that Communism in society is bad...but after getting a first hand look...it just makes me long for home all the more.

You see, despite what Quinn says, I think we're lost out here...and that thought terrifies me even more than this world's repressive government. We've thrown our lot in with the rebels...of which my double is the leader! A surreal experience to say the least. Especially the way I found out...having her lover kiss me. (Although it was amusing to see Quinn squirm...maybe I do have some power over that boy after all.) We're going to try and rescue her...after all she's me! Which is an exhilarating yet strange notion. I mean me? Little miss emotional leading an army? Yes I have strong beliefs, and yes I think I would do whatever it took to fight for my freedom, but the notion of me as a commander is completely alien. What hardships my double must have faced in her lifetime. I only hope that we can help these people...provide them with some hope. What they've got to face is a terrible ordeal...an uphill struggle.
