:: Big Satan, Small Satan ::
In one of the best movies of the merry 90's, "The Usual Suspects", Kevin Spacey says: "One of the best tricks the Satan ever did, was to convince
people that he doesn't exist" (or something like that). Well, We've got a new trick for you - Stand behind a bigger Satan.
How is this done? Lets start with the big boys. Did you even look at The Lycos Network?
The Lycos network (NASDAQ: LCOS) has 922 employees, it engulfs the following sites: lycos.com, Tripod, Angelfire, HotBot, HotWired, Wired News,
Suck.com, Sonique(!) and many other sites.
It has 148 Million average daily hits, and 48M registered users. You'd think that people all around the world would hate Lycos, it being such a huge
huge company. Nope. No bad press for Lycos.
No Monopoly investigations, Nada. Why? Because Lycos has AOL to take all the heat and flak. That's pure genius. Position yourself just a little bit
behind the industry leaders, and you can live in peace.
The same feat is being accomplished by our own iMesh (NASDAQ: Not yet). They're quietly positioned behind the mighty Napster and thus - Have no legal
problems. yet. Just one word of caution - The American DOJ is slow. Very slow. But it gets there.
