For three whole weeks The Wadi List has been vacationing. Something that might happen again in the future, obviously.

So what happened?

We found out we were a little fed up with the hype, so we halted and gained some perspective.

For me - none.

OK - we are getting somewhere. SMS is nice, my On-Line stock portfolio is nice too, yep, Palm is a cool thing, I buy groceries on line That is about it. Not much

What technology changed your life in the past three years?

Let's see. July 1997. Now we are talking.

A cell phone, for everyone I know, an e-mail account for everyone I know, an ICQ number for everyone I know, my father too. Everything changed.

So, what's the catch?

No catch. It's not that all has been invented, not even close, it's not that three weeks don't matter, they do.

But things take time.

So if you are fed up. Please do. Things will still be here when you come back, they will not be that different but they won't be the same either. I think.
