:: No Clue ::
In response to one of our mailings, one of our loyal readers has asked one specific thing, from one of us - to tell the Gray guy (that is me) not to write about things he doesn't
have a clue about - i.e. surfing.
This made me think. True, my knowledge of surfing (in the sea) amounts to trying once, knowing someone who used to and a number of low quality movies
on channel 4. In a sense I have no clue about surfing. But then again - when does one have a clue in today's world? How much can one truly know when all information is accessible,
or if not all, than at least a lot more than one can read? How deep can one dig into a subject when he should know for sure that while he is "catching up" more information on the
subject is being created and he will never actually "catch up"?
It's a mess, and it changes the way we should treat learning.
I'll share my method - I just don't care anymore - I just invent what ever I want.
Most people do not recognize the fact it is made up, and if someone does - I always admit - I have no clue what I'm talking about - and go tell the
same story to the next person down the line.
And if this method sounds familiar - come on this is the Wadi isn't it?
