:: Nothing But Glass ::
The window of opportunity is not officially closed, actually it is as wide open as it was during the 20th century (yes, it is a new century after all), but it now has a special
screen door installed.
You see 98 and especially 99 were good years for computer
specialists, but they were even better for lawyers, accountants and all kinds of "creative people", who wanted to dream up a Start-Up. With the hype of "business" on the net, one
very important thing was forgotten - that both good profit margins and strong barriers of entrance are usually associated with a technological
advantage.
With this fact forgotten, the written word on the business plan
became more important than the written word of code and an MBA became more important than an MSc. No More.
Blue's education just kicked the shit out of Gray's
one.
So, it's a simple choice for me and all you out there with the
wrong type of knowledge - It's either you dive in and hit nothing but glass or sit down on nothing but ass.
Got to go.
I'm reading this great book, C++ for
dummies.
See you around.
