:: First Look :: Spearhead ::

I hadn't had a chance yet to see the product Spearhead is making (security gateway of kind) but I can honor them and let them join the Wadi hall of fame right now. And this time I'm not cynical.

If you browse through the wanted ads every week you couldn't have missed the comic strip were the foxy blond is tempting her friends to come work for Spearhead.

The message hits the reader right in the gut. A young company, but not a fishy Start-Up. Stock options are not for free, but they have room to grow. Work isn't that hard and people have time to have fun. And have we mentioned they are Venture capital funded and yep, the stock options are at a good price.

Being rational, one would re-consider. But marketing is about being emotional more than about being rational. And this comic strip works. I like Spearhead.

So the guys at Spearhead know their marketing on the demand side. I can see no reason why one should think marketing on the supply side is any different. And this means business. And if not, hell, there is a foxy blonde working there and if you join the company, she will get a bonus and buy you dinner. Can't get any better than this.

I LOVE the Wadi.

And there is another Wadi company named Whale that has a very similar product. They have a cute Whale, Spearhead has a foxy blonde. If I had to choose, well you know the answer.

Told you, emotional, emotional, and emotional.

Go foxy go.
