I wanted to give you blood.
You see, there is a rumor going on that
there is a Wadi company in which employees that didn't
get their salary on time, took whatever they could out
of the offices. The Rumor has it that the loot was so
severe, locks had to be changed.
I almost gave you the name of the company
and then I stopped. You'll hear about it anyway - It
doesn't have to be from me. And it is not the case
anyway.
Companies in financial trouble aren't a
new thing. Missing a paycheck isn't new either. Some of
the biggest companies in the world missed a paycheck and
bounced back. What is new here is the way employees
behave.
They take.
They loot.
They
pillage.
Lucky for us, taking a Mazda to loot an
office is much less exciting than riding a horse into a
native village in Mongolia. Had things been different we
would have probably seen some burning and raping getting
done while the Laptops are taken home.
Now, you know I have always been the
defender of employees. But there are limits.
And as this sight is becoming, and will
become, more common I suggest adding the following
question to any new candidate interview - "did you
BUY this Laptop?".
Loot carefully.
