:: Not Again :: WebSplit
::
Have you ever heard of WebSplit?
If you haven't, don't bother. It is a
program you download and it splits the screen of the
browser. Then you can obviously chat with other people,
which, as you know, is extremely important. The kind of
thing 1999 was very good at and the Burn-Rate isn't fast
enough at eliminating.
The real thing about WebSplit is what
Ariel, the founder, told Globes recently.
"I'll tell Amazon that no one has
them as their homepage because there are more
interesting sites. Amazon, through us, can offer their
users a split screen YADP, YADP, YADP...."
Read again.
"I'll tell Amzazon"
Navixo, @hoc, BrowseUp, MixM, Multimate,
UCMore are just a very partial list out of a very long
list of Wadi companies I never mentioned in the past and
will never mention again that I assume would like to
tell Amazon a thing or two. Only they are smarter. They
know that if they go tell Amazon things, people there
might just not be very concerned with split screens and
chats. And they just might not listen. So they don't
tell Globes and all its readers about it. Or they don't
tell at all.
Now, I beg all Founders, PR agencies, VPs
of Marketing and just everyone else. If you just figured
out you have no idea what is it that you are doing,
please, please, please, please just don't tell
everyone.
Better still, don't tell anyone.
You know what?
Just don't tell.
