:: Me Syndrome ::

I'm doing a little data mining for you guys and gals today.

Following you will find a table taken from a Globes survey in which VC Fund managers were asked to select the most promising Start-Ups of 2001. I have marked those in which I was able to find reference the fund was selecting one of the companies it invested in as "most promising". All in all I have been able to find reference for 42 out of 65 picks, but I'm probably missing some.

Kind of speaks for itself doesn't it?

Ah, and one more thing - the table had this following note attached to it: "Note: Funds and start-ups are ranked alphabetically, not in order of importance."

I'm not sure about start-ups, but as for funds, I'm sure most found this very disturbing. What? No order of importance? How can that be? Don't they know who is important here?
