:: Sharon's Start Up Feel ::

I hate talking politics, and I promise not to abuse the fact that we're in the midst of an elective period, but I have to say this one thing.

When Sharon - finally - announced his all-too-hidden political plan, he reminded me of the usual Wadi start-up entrepreneur. What did he want, for god's sake? Be prime minister, travel around, hold meetings, play a little big-boss, talk to people.

Sounds familiar?

But there were these nagging people. In the start-up field they keep asking for a business plan, in the political world, they want to know your policy and your economic plans, and your foreign policy. And they keep asking.

But neither Sharon nor the start-up entrepreneur want to think about it so they shrug those nagging people off. Until enough is enough.

So, Sharon's plan looks like just another power point presentation with all the buzz words in it, but no real idea as to how to actually manage it. Just something quickly put together to satisfy those who keep nagging. Just like a start-up business plan.

Just so that he can go back and plan the trans-atlantic flight and the long midnight meetings, the Prime Minister Start Up Feel.
