:: Pyramid ::
For the past several weeks I kept
receiving some really strange stuff to one of my free
web based e-mails. The things I received were always
from the same sender, always promising some huge,
effortless money making opportunity and always
mentioning Bill Gates.
Although I'm not a big
believer in the concept of a free meal (and might I
remind you that you pay for your TLOOSHIM, or at the
very least - you pay income tax on them) I let my
curiosity get the better of me and I went in, in-order
to see what it was all about.
The opening letter
was very clear. Apparently 80 percent of the worlds
population are losers, who live a miserable everyday
existence and are always in need for more money. The
other 20 percent are dreamers, and now, according to
this letter, everyone can join them.
I had to
read on.
After 5 more pages of pure Bull Shit
(and by the way - did you know that Spam is just a
misleading name for "Direct E-mail marketing"
and that 95 percent of all users open all their
e-mails?) - I finally found the bottom line.
All that you have to do in order to join
the millions that are making money is to send 129$,
which enables you to open a website on the company's
servers. And how do I get rich? you might ask. That
happens by selling websites to others like you and by
getting a commission not only for the sites you sell,
but also for the sites the people you sold sites to
sold.
And then it hit me.
The pyramid scam
has just become click and mortar.
Isn't that a
big step towards normality?
