I got some friends (not a lot, but some) and I get to meet them (not a lot, but from time to time) and we talk of things (not a lot of things, but what is happening in the Wadi is one of them).

And each time I find myself saying the same thing.

You haven't seen nothing yet.

You've seen companies close down, but you haven't seen a whole building empty.

You've seen a VC write-off a company, but you haven't seen one writing-off the entire portfolio.

You've seen stock prices cut by 95%, but you haven't seen them cut again and again at the same ratio.

You've seen people take a pay cut, but you haven't seen engineers with 10 years with no work at all.

You've seen people in real distress, but you haven't seen them jumping off roofs tops.

So I'll say it again.

You haven't seen nothing yet.

But you'll see it all.

Don't ask if. Ask when.
