| After you escaped from the planet Tropherous in Attacked!, your ranking was upgraded to a MUCH higher mark. Now as a highly decorated Officer, you are prepared to tackle any Skaarj threats to any Terran owned space. Now the Skaarj that didn't die from the Plutonium Concentraded blasts on Gryphorean City are back, slightly mutated, and are pissed off. They stole a Log File inside the Labryinth, a mining facility under Ground Base 1. This Log contained secret information that the workers in charge of the mining operation on Tropherous had kept from the UDI, and apparently they had stumbled upon some mineral, a mineral worth more than any amount of Tarydium... Blacalsite. This mineral would stregnthen any organic mater it came in contact with, but it was never used on any humans.... only small spiders inside the frontal LAb inside The Labrynth. After awhile, the spiders grew out of control and built hives. The security computer, not being able to tell weather they were organic or not, began classifying them as "Unknowns". Soon afterwards, all the labworkers were killed, eaten alive, or sealed into the hives, still alive... Now the Skaarj have a strong grip on this mineral and the undamaged mining machinery deep underground. They overtook the un-touched Ground Base 2, 3, 4 and Base 5. In bases 2, 3, and 4, they are manuefacturing new Tanks, Mobile Heavy Artillary Cannons, Fighters, and a new breed of Destroyers as well as the old ones. On the side, they set up Mass Cloaks, which were cloaking devices that could hide a small insertion fleet big enough to take over a large ground structure. In Base 5, a more high-priority operation was taking place. After the fall of the Skaarj Queen, they took action. This was their big chance at a better foothold on the Terran sector of the Universe. THey were making a new Queen by adding the minerals to the Former Queen's body... and would implant an atrificial brain into it. Meanwhile, the UDI is sitting back, drinking their drinks, and laughing about the "old Skaarj 'threat'", thinking that Tropherous was completely wiped free of activity. Espically since Gryphorean City was completly obliverated. After a few months of manuefacturing, a very small carrier group slipped by the massuve UDI Earth Perimeter Defense Blockade of Hemilogan and Leviathan Destroyer starships, the most feared warships in the entire Universe. The group landed in Tokyo, Japan, due to it's minimal Human activity. The reason it was so vacant was because the whole city was flooded after global warming made more water and Human/Skaarj wars made large enough earthquakes to create a massive Tsunami wave that flooded Japan. It was pratically a Ghost Town now, so the Skaarj Carrier deployed a small squadron to clear a vacant, ruined building of any life, if any was detected. This building was the United States of America's former embassy. It quickly was developed into a quiet staging area for a massive charge to be drilled to a reasonable depth and detonated in order to create a much more massive earthquake than ever recorded to make a Tsunami wave that would swallow all of Asia and North Africa, as well as perts of East Europe. The other side of the wave would sweep over the West Coast of the united States and reach as far as the Continental Divide. It would be like an Apacolypse for those afterwards. Once the waves had done their part, the Skaarj would deploy their entire army, which would grow silently in a protected underwater base, and all units would be deployed on the remaining Human presence. It would be a glorious day for the Skaarj... but that's what you're here for. If the media found about this, it would cause a panic, and in the midst of the confusion, innocent lives would be taken by the Starship Blockade accidentially due to the blast radii of the warheads they would fire at the Skaarj. And the warheads would detonate the Skaarj explosives, causing the massive Tsunami wave. You are on an undercover oparation controled by the highest, most secret rankings of the UDI, and you will be dispatched in a news helicopter to the building, as a military unit would cause suspicion. You are to infiltrate the embassy and destroy all threats. Do NOT damage or destroy the Skaarj Drill Units or their Groundbreaker Warhead, for that would do exactly what they wanted, only killing you and them with it. A cover up story was already prepared to explain to any satellites in the Blockade that detected you why you were there. You are disguised as a research scientist, and remember to tell that to any humans, if you encounter any, that you are only looking for slavageable parts. Be prepared to face lots of Skaarj as well as a few tanks, fighters and Artillary units. This is a Level 10 emergency, and at the same time, a Level 10 cover-up operation. Failure is not an option. |
