No more egg.
Only silly smooth feathers.
Looking at the bright blue sky.
Seeing my wings rise above.
Pearched on the side of the nest.
Wonder if I'll ever find the courage to face the world...
and fly.
Crying my eyes out, wishin' I died.
Believe the devil, believe the lie.
Running away with no where to go,
stomping screaming, while saying hell no.
Not going to agree, not going to say yes.
Deceiving myself, not going to confess.
With tears streaming down,
trying to escape this town.
trying to leave this stuff behind.
looking, but not sure what to find.
Trying to fill this empty hole,
wanting to rip out my soul.
Screaming at the top of my lung,
wishing this body could be hung.
I don't care, I don't hurt.
with the devil I now flirt.
Leave me alone, let me be.
God, go away from me.
I don't want you, your love.
I don't want none of the above.
Running away, trying to escape.
My future I'm trying to shape.
Don't need or want this so called God.
What a hoax, what a fraud.
My hear is in two,
what can I do?
Stop telling me you care,
how can you dare?
I'm tired of this fight,
get out of my sight.
Why do you want me?
I am nothing, don't you see?
God, I don't get it, I don't know.
How can I give my life, how can I let it go?
You can't be real, you can't be true.
What do you want me to do?
I have questions,I can't figure it out.
I'm so confused, I have so much doubt.
Do you listen, are you there?
How come you let life be so unfair?
God, I want to know more,
I want to hear what you have in store.
If your promises are real,
if you promise, you will heal,
then God,
I believe in You.
I stretch my wings, I try to fly.
I want to dive into the sky.
I sit on edge; I wait for moment of prime.
I'm ready to move, anytime.
Suddenly I'm pushed, I now fall.
I am scared, out loud I call.
I try to stop, I try to soar,
but then these wings, swiftly I wore.
I was free, I could take air,
I was liberated, I didn't have a care.
I am flying up above,
I can hold the world, I could feel God's love.
As my feet touch the earth,
new life in me has given birth.
I can fly! I can do anything that comes my way.
I have learned an awsome thing today.
I believe in myself, I believe in you.
Just spread your wings,
and fly away too.

yet you decide to not hear.
The water rushes through,
yet you're still feeling blue.
The light shines on your face,
yet this love, you can't embrace.
The birds sing you a song,
yet you feel as though you don't belong.
A friend takes your hand,
yet you feel like you can not stand.
God wraps you in His love,
yet you don't glance up above.
You're too happy, too busy, too depressed,
too angry, too confused, too stressed.
What will it take for you to see,
all the beautiful things around you and me?

You shared your burdens with me,
You listened to my plea.
You give my life hope,
you help me cope.
You showed me life,
you carried me through the strife.
With me you walk,
you listen, you talk.
No one could ask for a better friend.
A better Angel, God couldn't send.
