Welcome to my collection of Playstation 2 demos! When the Playstation 2 was released, I knew that Sony would continue it's history of releasing demo discs, and they have not let us down. There has been some great demos released for the PS2 in it's history and some of them not just 2 minute samplers. I think the standout demo (and the one I was more excited to receive) was the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo. Konami could have quite easily made this just a 5 minute excerpt from the game, but instead they released a demo that was longer than the demo that came with ZOE. As usual, there are some good and bad stuff in the demos that have been released, and not every disc is a classic collection. However, they really have saved me from some bad gaming purchases and also introduced me to more gaming genres. Plus, for a quick game in 5 minutes, there is always something on a demo disc to quickly pick and have a casual game of. With PS2 going more online, it will be interesting to see how the distribution of demos will continue in the future, as downloading demos would be a great way to see a new game. Anyway, we will wait to see what develops in the future. OK, have a look through my collection and please email me with any comments!
