Before Landscaping

Well.. the landscaping's almost done.  This is the before shot.  It was dark when I finished.. so I'll have to take a photo tomorrow. 

I need probably 1 bag of river rocks to complete the 'rock garden'.  And I've also gotta put in the edging.. so I don't mow into the rocks.

But I'm not in a rush.  I might even leave it until next week.

Isn't it the dead of winter there? I'm looking at your lovely green grass and am feeling a bit confused (of course, I am blonde).....

No, you're not having a blonde moment Em.. It is winter, but there've been no frosts to kill off the grass. In fact yesterday was a beautiful 22C. And in the lead up to winter, I'd used my mulching mower, so the cuttings went back on the ground and I also left the grass a little longer than usual.

Well, the lawn looks great.....when do you usually get frosts - we don't make it past October (which I guess is your April?) Although I think we're having a summer like yours - its damn hot (I think it is something like 35-36 C for a high each afternoon - yuck)
