Mothers Day

My first Mothers Day without mum.  I kept myself busy. I also tended the garden and took care of a rose bush mum had planted in memory of her mum.

Also in the garden.. last year's strawberry plant is starting to show some signs of new life.  It'll soon be strawberry season.. well in about 6 weeks.  Hopefully I'll get a few berries this season. I love strawberries

I was thinking about you today.....and I'm glad it wasn't too difficult a day without her. Strawberry season - we'll have ours in a few more weeks too - isn't that odd...

I'm so sorry to hear your mother has passed away. I, too, lost my mom this year (04/04) so it was quite a strange day. Keeping busy helps, especially when you see or hear something you just know she'd love to hear about. I tell mine about it anyway. :D
