An amazing landing for a plane like this at the Amberley Air Force base yesterday.. Having lost a wheel during take off.. they eventually 'belly landed' and walked away un-injured.

I had the chance to speak with the pilot and navigator today.. and for blokes in their late 20's and early 30's there's impressive.. and it's good to know they're protecting Australia.

The pilot had only 70 hours flying time in the ageing F-1-11's.. but he sure showed pleanty of experience as he brought the aircraft in for the emergency landing.
