Biography: Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson began her life in Oxfordshire, England on April 15, 1990. At age seven, she took first place for her age group in the Daisy Pratt Poetry Competition at her school. Miss Watson has performed lead in plays such as 'Arthur: The Young Years' and 'The Happy Prince' among others. Emma's motion picture debut was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) as the brainy and beautiful Hermione Granger. She has reprised the role in each of the subsequent Potter films, which include Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).

She is not a real witch (of course) but did dress up as one for Halloween once. Also, for her part as Hermione Granger, her hair is dyed brown from her natural blond. In addition to acting, Emma enjoys playing sports, traveling to new countries, singing, dancing and spending time with her friends and family. Emma resides with her mom Jacqueline and younger brother Alex somewhere in Great Britain.
