Comments: This was a game of runs. At the end of the first quarter the score was 23 -11 with Walfer in the lead. The scoring in the second quarter was Walfer 19 and Musel Pikes 13, so at the half, the score was 42 - 24. The Walferdange team did not come out ready to play in the third quarter and the scoring for that quarter was Walfer 15 Musel Pikes 18. Walferdange outscored Musel Pikes by six in the last quarter to pull of a win by 21 points. The Walferdange team had many ups and downs (a great play on offense in one possession would be followed by an unforced error in the next possession. Many of Walfer's points were scored in transition, and the scoring for the Musel Pikes team came mostly from drives to the basket. The win by Walferdange was an important one and cannot be overlooked.
