The Lord's word is always true, and it convicts and encourages us. I am so glad that He lives in us, and thus can speak to us through the Bible and through the other believers. I just found out that a person I had from which I had been fearing ridicule is a believer as well. I am very joyful! The Lord's word is true. We shouldn't be afraid. I am glad that we can trust in His words, which will not pass away even if heaven and earth passes away.
I am so glad that we do have all the believers around us to help us run the race in the Lord. The everyday troubles we experience can be very overwhelming and encumbering, such all the work I had this week and how I was wrongly accused of something somewhat big a few days ago. Sometimes, we just need to look away to Jesus. He is the source of all the faith we need, and He suffered the most terrible trials for us. I know that when I looked away from all my troubles to Him, His wonderful compassion give me an indescribable peace inside. Praise Him!
This weeks is probably the most busy and hectic week of the year for me. Many different things are going on. At times, I just completely lack the strength to go on. Yet the Lord always draws me on through all the trials, and I'm so glad that by His drawing we can run after Him. When we are with Him, we just have the peace to follow Him. The Lord is drawing all of us to come away, and I know I must follow Him. He will never let us down, and the winter and the rain is really already gone.
Companions in the Lord are really important, I've realized. Alone we cannot make it for very long. Temptations and trials always get us down, because we might often rely on our own strengths, and then turn inward and not turn to the Lord when we fail. Yet a fellow believer with whom one can pray and fellowship with can bring us back into the joy, the enjoyment of the Lord. I've experienced that first hand recently, and it's very crucial and wonderful to be with the fellow believers who call upon the name of the Lord.
I really enjoyed the Lord the past weekend at a conference in New York, and I realize how God has a purpose for us. We are chosen vessels to contain Him in order to express and represent Him. I am so glad for His eternal purpose, and seeing the recent developments in Israel, I am reminded that we need to grow in Him each day, watching and overcoming so that we would be ready for Him for His coming, which seems closer than ever. I gave myself to the Lord this past weekend, and I know that if we have sin or are tangled up in the pleasures or affairs of the world, this consecration will be weakened. I am therefore very glad that we can overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb! Praise and thanks to the Lord! May we be the generation of the Lord's coming back.
