Diablo Center for Cosmetic Dentistry we offer basic services like exams, cleanings, x-rays, fillings and more. To provide the best standard of care for our patients, we have elected to utilize dental specialist for certain procedures such as root canals, or extraction of teeth.

Exams  In order to insure success in our procedures, we take the necessary time to fully and thoroughly examine your present dental condition. We use the appropriate diagnostic tools such as x-rays, models, photographs, visual examination, full periodontal exam, cancer screening, and esthetic evaluations. Our goal is to give our patients the necessary information and education so that they may enjoy a beautiful, healthy smile for many years to come.

Oral hygiene & re-care We believe in establishing a good foundation of oral hygiene and periodontal care. During your recall visit, we will evaluate your gums for disease and bone loss, remove disease causing plaque and calculus above the gums, take any necessary diagnostic x-rays, and cancer screening. Preventing problems before they occur is the most convenient and economical way to maintain good oral health. 

Bleaching teeth is the easiest yet most gratifying procedures we perform in our office. We are pleased to provide our patients with choices of different bleaching techniques which are customized for each persons needs. From home bleaching kits to one appointment in-office Plasma Arc (laser type) bleaching.

Tooth colored fillings We take pride in restoring teeth to as close to their original strength and appearance. New tooth colored materials, based on adhesive dentistry, offer all of the advantages of  mercury/metal fillings without the drawbacks. These tooth colored fillings are made from a combination of porcelain and plastic. Tooth colored fillings bond to tooth structure and are therefore very conservative in nature, helping to hold the tooth together and thus preventing fractures. The bonding effect seals and strengthen the tooth.

Crowns When decay, fractures or broken teeth, mandate treatment beyond the scope of a filling, a crown or cap is usually the answer. Unlike the traditional porcelain-to-metal crown, the option of all-porcelain crowns has a natural appearance without a metal band at the base of the crown.

Porcelain laminate veneers, also know as bonding, is the ultimate cosmetic option. Color, size, shape and length of teeth can be changed with minimal tooth reduction. Veneers are custom crafted, thin porcelain shells that are bonded to natural teeth. Veneers can make a dramatic, dynamic and very natural looking improvement to one's smile in two weeks.

Inlays or Onlays. As opposed to using mercury silver fillings or cutting down a tooth for a crown, inlays and onlays allow us to conserve the tooth structure, thereby promoting strength while remaining highly esthetic.

Bridges are fixed, or non-removable prosthesis constructed to replace one or more missing teeth. The teeth on either side of the existing space are used to anchor the bridge to restore functionality as well as esthetics. We are now able to construct beautiful porcelain over metal as well as full porcelain and resin-based bridges to produce the best results for each particular situation.

Implants. Rather than involving multiple teeth in the process of replacing a missing tooth, this treatment provides a state-of-the-art esthetic alternative by "implanting" an artificial tooth into the bone structure.
