The Stories Page

(Yes, there are too many stories, probably because there are way too many characters. Or is it that there are too many characters because there are too many stories? Discuss.)

NEW! I've put up a ficlet page -- you can find it through here.

The Making of a SuperTeam
Lily's SuperBio, all about how she fell into SuperHeroism, and how the Canadian Justice Bureau formed almost against the will of anyone involved in the process. Plus, waaaaaay too many peripheral characters, which sets a precedent that I never quite shook.

A World of Hearts and Flowers
It's Valentine's Day in the CJB, and there's evil afoot -- that is, besides the obvious evil that is Valentine's Day itself. The CJB is put more than a little on edge, Lily makes some new friends to occupy her time, and everyone gets very snippy, but particularly CJ. (First five scenes posted.)

Touched By A Leprechaun
Faith's SuperBio. Because, in comparison, Lily's induction into the SHU was just *easy*. Here we have a really annoying SuperMentor, a really manipulative archnemesis, a severely unstable Heroine, and a whole lot of absurd character death.

Sunshine In A Bag
A new villainess shows up in town who has quite the history with CJ -- prompting us to finally learn some of what da KUB's history *is*, anyway. And, you get to see Lily pitch a whole lot of fits.

All In The Family
Shane's SuperBio. Some SuperHeroes are made, some are born, and some, well, are a little bit of both. Plus, we finally come as close as we ever will to finding out just why Rodney's so damn deranged.

Deja Vu All Over Again
Has anyone else noticed that way too many of these people are only *ambiguously* good or evil? This is one of those moments when the chips are down and you have to commit to one side...or something impressive-sounding to that effect.

The Art of Supervillainy
Because let's face it, some of them are just plain laughable. The question is how the CJB will handle a player who really knows his craft -- or, more to the point, how Lily will handle him. In the meantime, look, Xander finally gets a subplot!

Moose In The House
The CJB gets an unexpected houseguest (well, to them, at least, but we've all already seen the title), and Lily, as usual, is attracted to a new face, though in this case, one who appears to be clinically insane.

A Very SHUy Christmas
Xander and Faith bring Chloe her very own Christmas Carol, Greg takes it upon himself to save Christmas from Team ECK, Shane suffers through a McMahon family gathering, Chris and Trish attempt to bury the hatchet, Sean plays "It's a Wonderful Life", and Lily, naturally, forgets to buy everyone presents until Christmas Eve.

Til Death Do Us Part
An unexpected engagement throws the CJB into an uproar. Which only gets worse, as their loyalties are divided by the discovery of a plot to stop the wedding...

City of Brotherly Love
Another influx of villains (what else is new) brings Vince a lot of headaches, Faith a clue about her past, and Lily some insight into Greg's motivation. And, if it is humanly possible, Lindsey gets even angstier, but not without good reason...
