Crime Prevention

Like most police departments, we offer extra patrol to residents who leave on vacation. One can come in and fill out a house-check form including confidential information about where they are going, how long they will be gone, and who we can contact locally if something happens at the house.
We also give all calls high priority. We can get anywhere in town in 1-2 minutes so when we get a call, we try to get all pertinent information first, so we don't pass any suspects on the way to the scene!
When our officers are not busy, they keep our citizens safe by checking doors to businesses, patrolling alleys, and stopping suspicious people.
