These stories take place after the season five finale. If you haven't seen The Gift, I strongly recommend you do not read them as they contain big spoilers.

Aftermath is my version of how Dawn and Spike coped with the events of The Gift. I also try to deal with some of those questions the Buffyverse keeps throwing our way, such as 'How the heck did Sunday get into Buffy's room without an invite?'

I dedicate this series to whoever borrowed my Alanis Morissette CD and never returned it. It's their fault I got Uninvited stuck in my head and started seeing the Spike/Buffy parallels.

The song lyrics belong to Alanis Morissette. The characters belong to Joss Whedon as does the flashback dialogue. No copyright infringement intended.
