Cloud Divination

This was form of  divination  if one will look it up  is goblely there is not one culture  that dose not have its own form of reading the clouds. Look for large single dark clouds in a clear sky or a dense cumulus cloud formation at sunrise or sunset when the clouds are touched with gold.

The key to cloud divination is not to try and identify and name
specific pictures in the sky, but let the shapes, whether a single image or a series, suggest an idea or picture quite spontaneously to you. Others will see the same cloud entirely differently because we all have a different world view.
Throughout history symbols of political or religeous importance have been seen in the clouds. In A.D. 312 when Emperor Constantine was marching against the army of Maxentius at Rome, both he and his entire army saw a shining cross of light amid the clouds.
It was said the cross contained the Greek words "By This Conquer". Later that night Christ appeared to Constantine in his dreams bearing a cross in his hand ordering Constantine to have a military starndard made in the same image.
Under this standard his outnumbered army was victorious. Down through history entire military battles have been witnessed in the clouds.

Some of the U.F.O. sightings have in fact turned out to be disk shaped cloud formations. Generally cloud scrying is done on days when cloud conditions are good.

Having too few or too many clouds is no good for scrying. The best is when the clouds are thick.

Find a nice location to lie down and just relax. Try not to focus on any one cloud but rather allow the clouds to drift across your view.
Visions cannot be forced, they will come naturally when the time is right.

Bird Divination
ORNITHOMANCY
Bird, Flight and Song
Bird divination was one of the most important forms of auspicy
(messages coming from the sky) practiced in cultures throughout the world. Omens were gathered either through the singing, crowing or croaking of birds or through the pattern and direction of their flight. The term auspice for a prediction comes from the Latin for an observer of birds. In Ancient Rome special augurs (trained philosophers) would interpret the auspicy which was
seen as a message from Jupiter. In Rome, flight Auspicy took place within a sacred space, called templum, that was not a building but imaginary divisions marked off in the sky or on the ground by an augur.

Interpreting Bird Flight

You can use a flock of birds or a single one. Ask a question or think of a decision that involves a course of action and watch the behaviour of the bird. I have given the modern interpretations of the old auguries. If you are in a place where a variety of birds fly and perch, you might like to use the bird meanings given above to interpret areas of strength or concern. If you are in no hurry, sit and wait for the first birds to arrive. A bag of corn may hasten the process.

Dark & Light

As a rule of thumb, where there is more than one species of birds, a light or brightly coloured birds indicates immediate action, while darker ones indicate a delay. If the question involves options, the arrival or movement of a light-coloured bird would tell you to act, a darker one to wait. Sometimes you can find darker and lighter birds among the same flock of pigeons and can observe which arrives or departs first.

Direction

Birds flying from the right indicate a smooth passage in any venture and that confident action should be taken. Birds flying from the left indicate delays and perhaps counsel waiting or remaining silent for a while. Birds flying straight towards the questioner indicate that happier times are coming. Those flying directly away suggest that the next few days are a time for tact and caution and for making plans rather than embarking on new
ventures.

Height

The higher the flight, the more favourable the omen. If the bird flies directly upwards, then the venture should achieve swift success with little effort needed on your part. If the flight is horizontal or veers up and down with the bird landing and flying off then landing again, you may need to apply more effort and not be deterred by initial obstacles.

Changing Course

If a bird suddenly changes direction, there may be sudden changes of heart or inconstancy from those close to you or sudden doubts of your own that you need to examine.

Hovering

If a bird hovers directly overhead, beware of hidden criticism or new friends who may be less than direct.

Bird Song

If a song birds sings or utters a cry as it takes flight, it is a good
sign for going ahead at once with any matter. A bird that calls as it lands may indicate caution is needed. If a dark bird or a bird of prey screams as it circles, unless it is near its nest there may be unexpected opposition to overcome.

Interpreting Song

Dawn is a good time for listening to bid song. Go where there are a number of birds, such as doves or blackbirds. Ask a question and close your eyes. Let the chorus form pictures and words in your mind. Your answer will come with the flow of the song.

SMOKE SCRYING
Smoke scrying is best done while relaxing in front of a campfire. You should be in comfortable visual range of watching the smoke rise.
Do not follow the smoke up but rather allow the smoke to forms patterns within your spiritual gaze. In time you will see visions of many far off events.

I have generally found people who have natural artistic skill good at this form of scrying.

The American Indians practise a special type of smoke scrying. It's called a sweat lodge.

Water is poured over hot rocks in a tent to create steam. The steam is inhaled by those who sit naked around the rocks.

The combination of temperature, humidity and elevated levels of carbon dioxide produce a state in which visions can arise. This form of scrying may be dangerous and should only be undertaken by experienced people.
AMNIOMANCY
Amniomancy is a form of divination that uses the membrane which sometimes covers the head of a new born child.
Divination of this sort is only done by a woman.
The woman will inspect the membrane and predict the future of the baby.
If the colour is red it indicates a fortunate life.
However, if the colour is lead, it indicates a difficult life.
