It's the eve of the new millenium. Shawn Rulin, aged 14, is in his room, lying on his bed. He's staring at the stars by the window at his right. He sighs. He puts his hands together and he closes his eyes.

"God, it's been a while since I last talked to you. Last time, I told you how much I hated you for making my life a hell. But now, I've decided to take back my faith and pray. I want to ask you something, it's the most important thing I'll ever ask you,"

He takes a deep breath and then, he continue.

"Please God, give me someone. Give me someone to love, give me someone who would love me, care for me and who would be my world. Please, God, I need someone who would be my motivation to go on. My motivation to appreciate my life. Please, God,"

A tear runs on his left cheek.

"Please God, I need... I deeply and really need someone..."

A blonde girl and a tall boy seems to be arguing. The girl is crying and the boy seems to be annoyed.

"How could you????" said the girl with her hands on her head. It's like if it'll explode.

"I told you, Jess. I don't love you anymore, that's all. Is it so weird?" replied the boy looking at the girl.

"What? What do you mean, Michael???" asked the confused Jessica.

"You didn't pay any attention to me. I was just your...your...thing! You didn't even care about me. You were just proud to have as boyfriend, the best karate student of the college," said Michael with anger.

Jessica didn't know what to say, after all Michael was right. If she was interested in him the first time, it was because he was a 'rising star'. But now, he has started to fall and for her, he was losing more and more interest.

"You don't say anything? You know I'm right. You're just...just... You know what you are? You're just a ...bitch!!!" said Michael pointing towards Jessica.

Jessica approaches Michael, she stood still for a moment then she bursts out laughing. Michael is confused. Why is she laughing? he asked himself.

"Why...why are you laughing?" asked the surprised Michael.

"You!! You're so pathetic!!" replied Jessica.

A group of students suddenly come out from a pile of rocks. They were hiding and now laughing. There's even one with a camera.

"What, what does it mean?" asked Michael, growing more surprised.

"We catched this wonderful moment on tape, Micky!" said the one with the camera.

"Brock? You bastard!!" said Michael with anger.

"We're going to show the whole college how weak you are!" said Jessica with a smile.

Michael stands still for a moment, staring at Jessica.

"Why? Why did you do this Jessica?" asked Michael

"Oh Craig, you're so sweet!" said a girl with a large smile.

"Well, thank you my sweet darling," replied Craig with a smile.

"Can you say it to me, one more time?" asked the girl.

"Sure, my sweet darling. I love you, Brittany!" said Craig with an adorable smile.

Brittany uses her power to know if he's telling the truth.

"Mmm, that's good, that's really good," said Brittany.

"Ah, so you used your power, right?" asked Craig with a smile.

"Um, I think...yea!" said Brittany before a little laugh.

Craig uses his power and send a little electric ball on Brittany's knee.

"Hey!" exlaimed Brittany with a smile.

A girl enters the restaurant and Craig notice her.

"Oh no..." sighed Craig.

"What?" asked Brittany, surprised.

The Hill's House
[Dining Room]

The Hill family are having a dinner, the father is in his fourties and the mother in her late thirties. They have a unique son, Taylor. He is 14 years old and he has actually a sad looking face.

The parents look at each other, then the father starts to speak.

"My boy, your mother and I finally took a decision about that difficult situation,"

"Really? So, what have you decided?" asked the boy.

"My darling, we know that it's been really hard for you since last year and it influenced a little bit our decision," said the mother.

Taylor remains silent, not knowing what to say.

"We have decided to give you another chance," said the father with a smile.

The boy's face lit up.

"Oh thank you!!" said Taylor, rushing in his parents' arms.

"But, of course, there's one condition, sweet heart," said his mother.

"One condition? What is it?" asked Taylor standing infront of his mother.

"You'll have to promise us that you'll not get into trouble, any trouble of any kind," said the father.

"I promise you, I promise," said the boy quickly with a little smile.

"That's okay then, now finish your dinner my sweet heart," said his mother with a smile.

"Yes, mommy," said the boy while going back to his seat.

"We hope that you will keep your promise, my boy," said the father looking at his son.

"I will, I promise you, I will," replied the boy with a large smile.

Shawn gets up from his bed. He turns on the lights and goes in the kitchen. He sits on a chair.

"What should I take? A cup of coffee or a vanilla milk shake? I think I'll take the vanilla milk shake," said Shawn in his mind.

He uses his power and makes a milk shake.

Shawn then goes to the living room. He sits on the couch, puts his glass of milk shake on the little table infront of him and takes a package envelopped in a gift paper from that same table.

He reads the card which is on the package,
My little angel, I'm sorry I'm not here to celebrate the new year with you but I had to go to Los Angeles for a very important reason. I hope you will understand and I hope you'll like your gift. I'll bring you more from Los Angeles, I love you, my sweet angel. Mommy.

He takes off the gift paper on the package and opens the box. Inside there's the Playstation 2 console and the 10 newest games for Playstation 1 and 2.

"She knows how to earn my forgiveness," said Shawn with a smile.

He puts the package on the small table, and he takes his glass. He drinks a little of it with his pipe. Then, using his power, he takes a box from the cupboard infront of him and take out a 'sparkling stick'. Then, using his power, he lit it. The stick was now raining sparkles.

"May this new year bring me happiness and...someone," said Shawn with a lot of hope.

"Why? You are asking me why? I'll tell you why," replies the blonde girl.

"I can't wait to hear your reason, Jessica," says Michael crossing his arms.

Jessica starts to walk around Michael.

"You're are, firstly, too weak. Ok, you can be stronger physically but not mentally. Even when we kiss, you seem like if you're going to faint. What would happen if we make love?" explains the girl.

"I'm just..a bit..too emotional," replies Michael.

Jessica continues to walk around Michael.

"Just a bit? Don't make me laugh! You are way too emotional and I'm so sorry to make you so emotional! But that's not all, look at your reaction after I ignored you for just one week. You want to break up without even asking why I'm acting like this. That proves how much you love me!" finishes Jessica.

Michael puts his arms back in a normal position and he is speechless. After all what Jessica said, what can he say to prove that she is wrong.

"C'mon guys, let's go! I've nothing else to do here except..." says Jessica as she approaches Michael.

Slap!

"That's for calling me a bitch and also, Good Bye!" says Jessica as she and her friends go back to the party.

"...she's right..." thought Michael as he walks towards the sea.

He stands still for a moment, then using his power, he punch the ground. A wave was made by this punch.

"Oh what did I do???" yells Michael on his knees facing the sea.

"How could she be so crual?" thought someone who watched all the scene.

"She's heading towards our table," says Craig.

The girl arrives at the table.

"Hi there, you two," says the girl with a smile.

"Hello Monica," says Craig before coughing a bit.

"Hi Monica," adds Brittany with a little smile.

"I hope I didn't interrupt anything," says Monica with a smile.

"Well, infact yes, we were just telling to each other how much we loved to be together," replies Craig with a smile and putting his hand on Brittany's.

"I see, well, I hope you'll have a nice dinner," says Monica while clunching her fists behind her back.

"All was going smoothly until you showed up, Monica," says Craig with no smile.

Without even caring to reply, Monica goes away.

"Craig! Why were you so rude?" asks Brittany.

"I'm sorry, Brit, but I can't forgive her for what she did to me," replies Craig.

Brittany gets up.

"I'm going to the toilets, I'll be right back," says Brittany, taking her hand bag.

"Listen, sweet darling, I'm sorry but I just can't forgive her," says Craig thinking his girlfriend is mad at him.

"Don't worry, it's ok," says Brittany to reassure him.

Taylor is lying on his bed with the lights on.

"Thanks for helping me. I knew you would never let me down. Now, I'll have to make big efforts to be able to stay in this new college. I hope I'll be able to control myself," says Taylor in his mind.

"Honey it's time to sleep!" says his mother from outside the room.

"Going to, mommy," replies the 14 year old boy.

"Oh please help me to control myself. I know I'm asking you a lot but... I needed your help before so it's not so new for you. And you know what? I think I'll always need your help. We were so close, you knew me by heart but now you're gone. I hope..no..I wish that one day, we'll be together again. Yeah, we'll be together again.

"Sweet heart, please, there's school tommorrow!" says his mother from outside the room.

"Okay mommy, good night!" says Taylor before turning off the lights.

"Good night, sweet heart!" replies his mother.

"Tommorrow is the first day of my new life!" says Taylor in his mind with a smile.
