Despite good intentions, the efforts of otherwise talented artists can sometimes go awry. To qualify here, a record must be by a successful artist who was attempting to make a good record. These are not novelty songs by obscure groups; all were big sellers. I intend no offense to the artists by their inclusion here; most of these are probably just guilty pleasures anyway.
