There will be 2 types of cards---- prematch cards( played before you actually start ), and mid-match cards ( played during the course of the game)
There will be a new 12-card Backlash deck cosisting of 6 pre-match and 6 mid-match cards. This deck will be in excess of your present one. In other words, you get to keep the 60-card deck, but you have an additional 12-card backlash deck.
Each backlash expansion pack would contain:
6 Common Cards
3 Uncommon Cards
1 Rare Card
1 Superstar Card
Starter Decks contain
1 Tag Team Superstar Card
3 Foil Cards
57 Common & Uncommon Cards
There will be 6 uncommon superstar cards

These cards will allow them to play as individual superstars.
The Prematch cards come before anyone takes their turn. The player with the highest superstar rating goes first and plays a prematch card. then the second player plays a prematch card. This sequence of play is continued till both players have played 3 Prematch cards each. Prematch cards improve your handsize, superstar values and other effects to your game.
Mid-Match Cards though, have a condition before they can be played( i.e must be played after a 5D or greater maneuver or you must have 3 or more cards in hand than your opponent.) You may only have 3 Mid-Match cards in your Ring Area at any one time.
