| This article explains how to play against an opponent, based on the superstar he is using. This is only a basic analysis of the different Raw Deal decks and is by no means a solution to effective playing against them as much of it depends on your deck and playing style. (1) Stone Cold Steve Austin Pretty much pray that your opponent has an extremely bad starting hand. This might seem funny but it is really quite true especially if you are playing lower-tier characters. Probably HHH and Chyna might be able to reverse his first few maneuvers but once he gets it going he is going to steamroll his opponents. Against a SCSA deck, you might want to try and keep his F rating less than 12. Though this might seem as a task with a high degree of difficulty, it is your only hope of survival against a rattlesnake onslaught. He has one of the best handsizes in the game and the best superstar ability of all. This two advantages, when combined would mean that SCSA decks have effectively, 9 cards to choose from in their opening hand, giving them a huge advantage over you. One thing you have to take note of though, is that SCSA decks are usually very action-intensive. Which means your other means of defense against the Rattlesnake is to fill your Arsenal with action reversals( JBI, NCIH ). You might also want to implement a little strategy, like holding on to that NCIH instead of reversing cards deemed 'harmless' at that point. If Austin is gonna beat you, bear in mind that he would do it real fast and would rely on Open up, get crowds and Offer handshakes. The typical scenario nowadays is that he elbows your face, opens up a can, and running elbow's you, thus making it an irreversible 12D. Next thing you know, he elbow smashes you and that's another 10D irreversible, which means that 22 cards are off your rack in a single turn. Scary, huh? Against the Bionic Redneck, you've got to make the best of the situation and attack. Hit him hard before he hits you. (2) HHH The Game! The best opening hand size in the Game! HHH is a monster to deal with. His opening handsize virtually assures him of garnering a reversal inhis hand. However, never be intimated by those 10 cards in the Game's hand. All you can do is play a maneuver and hope. Usually, it is the psychological effect that deters you from playing your maneuver. This psycho effect is a huge hindrance. Just think about it---IF you don't attack and end your turn, his hand size would undoubtedly increase, worsening the situation in the process.IF you attack, though, you would not only waste his reversal to pave the way for other cards to come, you would also maintain his hand size, forming a win-win situation for you. Just try and attack and cut his handsize down. Once he hand is cut down to a meagre 4-6 cards( by the Game's standards ), he is as good as Tazz without a hand. The Game is also one of the few effective Heel players in the Game. Watch out for his Leaping Knee, as that would be a Irreversible 15 cards. Always try to drop J.R style against the cereberial assassin to prevent him from playing effective actions against you. Like in the case of SCSA, HHH tends to be destroyed by J.R style. Next Page |
