We both like to (intuit) think of ourselves as being intelligent (because we ARE, although I'm not entirely sure about Alex), and we have personalities that make us perfect complements to each other (at least most of the time). Our person says that we both embody a Disciplined Freedom (a seeming contradiction), and he thinks that this is somehow reflected in many aspects of the NET.

Alas, all things must come to an end. That's true for us as well. We both departed to the land of catnip and non-stop mousies in the Winter of 04/05. Alex decided to go first (Nov 04), and I got lonely without him so I followed (Jan 05). Our human has decided to keep our pictures and accompanying text so he can remember us.

Now for the GOOD NEWS. We've been reincarnated. However, there have been some changes. We both have different names, and there's also been a gender and breed switch.

I've now been reincarnated as Bastet (the ancient Egyptian godess of cats) but my human calls me Bessie. I used to be a RUSSIAN BLUE but now I'm an ABYSSINIAN. Meanwhile, Alex who used to be an ABYSSINIAN was reincarnated as Vasili, a RUSSIAN BLUE, and he's better known as Willie. Here's a picture of us as we are today:
