Comments: hello John. My Mom, Norma Petty, has always thought the world of you and Janet. Take care. I enjoyed your homepage!!
Comments: I've been trying to gather some geneology information and came across your family tree. I have some letters from my great-uncle and another person from the 50's and it has our family lines starting out the same to about Benjamin Gittings, 1781? and there it goes to Ason Gittings Sr. I'm just starting to gather information and am not too sure where to start however I have this goal to figure this out. My great-uncle Philip was very involved in geneology and might have some information. I'll see if I hav anything that might help you.

Comments: Hello John, I think we may be related. My mother's maiden name was Gittings. I am just gathering geneology on her side of family. I found on the Family Tree Maker's Geneology Site that the father of James Franklin Gittings was Benedict Berry Gittings. William Kinsey Gittings'(the father of Benedict)name was in a record made by my Aunt Carrie Gittings Redfern. My mother's father's name was Thomas, and the family lived in Dallas City, Illinois. Let's keep in touch! Ted Pfeiff
